‘This is simple. More laughs in 2 hours than any show I have ever seen. There it is.’ Simon Mayo, BBC Radio
Famous TV inprovisation show Whose Line Is It Anyway? comes back to the West End strictly for 14 performances! Coming back due to extremely high demand, Whose Line Is It Anyway?...Live will be staging at the London Palladium between 9th and 19th June 2016. Created by the original team Dan Patterson and Mark Leveson.
Completely and utterly original show will be on every night! The regulars Colin Mochrie, Josie Lawrence, Greg Proops, Clive Anderson and Brad Sherwood will be attempting to blow your mind by their art of improvisation.
Whose Line is it Anyway? has become one of the most influential formats of TV comedy. It first appeared on Channel 4 back in 1988. In the beginning, Clive Anderson would host a panel of highly-skilled comedians in something that looked like a game show. The comedians' task was to compete in a series of improvisation games, co-created by suggestions from Anderson and also the audience. The show became a huge hit in the US. Its American airing began in 1998 and is still going strong.
The live show's premiere on London’s West End in June will be combination of the UK and US versions – combining the best of each. The producers are also promising a number of new and exciting games. And some of those will also include participation of the audience!
