Stephen Daldry’s production will preview at the Apollo Theatre from 21 April 2015, with press night on 5 May 2015 and is booking to 25 July 2015.  The Audience has designs by Bob Crowley, with lighting by Rick Fisher, sound by Paul Arditti and music by Paul Englishby. 

Jack Thorne reminds us that there's a formidable hunger for political change among Britons once again in John Tiffany's striking production.

Cherished playwright Jack Thorne's second Royal Court offering lives up to its title in suggesting there's possibility for big change in 21st century austerity Britain. We follow the Labour council of a small, working-class town as they go about the inherently damning process of deciding and implementing £22 million worth of local budget cuts. Thorne's latest play is a well-rounded production of powerfully relevant writing peppered with meaningful humor and rather superb acting.

With Christmas just round the corner and this weekend set to be the busiest shopping day of the year, you can beat the crowds and gift the joy of theatre to those you love this Christmas, there really is a show for everyone. So swap those socks for Shaw, the scarf for High Society and for the boys who never grow up there’s J. M. Barrie’s Peter Pan.

You wait and wait to catch a dame and then two come along at once.   Typical!  Here in Theatreland nothing quite creates a theatresizzle like a show that you know is going to be unmissable.    Anyone with years of stunning performances on both stage and screen usually guarantees that a West End outing will deliver the goods.    Pedigrees don't come much greater than Dame Helen Mirren and Dame Judi Dench, both of whom have impending London shows opening.
