"A stunning one-man show... a really lovely evening" - The Daily Mail

"The show, skilfully compiled by Courtenay himself from Larkin's own writing, celebrates this most accessible of 20th-century poets in all his many guises... What a man. What a poet. And what a performance." - The Daily Telegraph

Pretending To Be Me compiled and performed by Tom Courtenay from the writing of Philip Larkin. Featuring some of Larkin's most memorable poems and sprinkled with the poet's trademark wit and unique look at life, the production examines key events and moments in Larkin's life and how they shaped his work. The production has just had an extremely successful run at the West Yorkshire Playhouse.
