Stuart Wilson and Sinead Cusack take the titles roles in Shakespeare’s classic tragedy. Michael Attenborough, whose most recent credits with the RSC include last year’s Henry IV (Parts 1 and 2) and this year’s The Prisoner’s Dilemma (both at the Barbican), directs Wilson and Cusack as one of history’s most infamous couples. Antony and Cleopatra struggle to conduct a fiery love affair as Rome and Egypt compete for the bodies and souls of their inseparable leaders.

This RSC production transfers, along with the RSC's Much Ado About Nothing, to the West End from Stratford's Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
