The ripples of revolution are lapping the shores of the West End! URINETOWN, the satirical musical comedy that was a sold out splash hit at the St James Theatre will cascade into London's West End to the beautifully refurbished Apollo Theatre.

Award-winner Jamie Lloyd (Richard III, The Commitments) directs this sharp-witted rampant riot of a show that tells the tale of a town about to burst; spending a penny can prove problematic in a place where the privilege to pee has a preposterous price tag. There is no such thing as rent free relief until our young hero Bobby Strong appears with more than a good set of pipes.

Sometimes all you need is a drop of a hope to save the world!

Now starring Phil Jupitus

Make sure you catch this truly hilarious and critically acclaimed audience favourite when you're in town!

Urinetown Review - Everything A Musical Should Be And Somehow More

Last night I went to Urinetown. Not the place, the musical! Superficially this is a show about having to pay to pee, and it’s safe to say I was dubious about what to expect as I took my seat in the Apollo Theatre.

Urine For A Good Night

I for one love a good Broadway transfer, and when I heard that Urinetown The Musical (one of my favorite satirical Broadway musicals) was getting its first West End run since the show premiered on Broadway back in 2001, I was over the moon. So, being the obsessive theatre goer that I am, I booked my Urinetown tickets to go two days after the shows official West End opening because I was truly excited.
