It's 1971. Michael Dork may be a computer geek but he's invented something that could change the world. He's also discovered GIRLS: a prospect (almost) as exciting as his love of binary.Holly is the girl: she has looks and brains and wants to be the first woman in space - well, this is 1971! But will she want Michael?
Eddie wants a fast ride to the top and doesn't care who gets trampled along the way.Leia just wants Eddie. Or Eddie's babies - well, she thinks she does.
Michael, and his sci-fi obsessed, social-misfit friends, Lucas, Francis and Marvin are all set to change the course of history, fashion and dating - in no particular order, but just as soon as possible, especially the dating bit.
Loserville is a new musical written by Elliot Davis and James Bourne (inspired by his Son of Dork album Welcome To Loserville).
Now meet the Class of 1971. This is their story and now it's a musical.

Exclusive interview with Loserville creators James Bourne and Elliot Davis
Ex-Busted star James Bourne and writer/composer Elliot Davis have teamed up to create an original musical inspired by Bourne's group Son Of Dork's album Welcome To Loserville. Having won critical and public acclaim outside of London the show is due to transfer to the West End with previews staring next week, October 1st. With the West End relying on so many 'jukebox musicals' and revivals to get bums on seats, London Theatre Direct applaud any original new show ballsy enough to try and establish themselves and bring something fresh to London. We caught up with James and Elliot in the run up to the show's London debut.

Gossip: Gareth Gates musical heading to the Garrick?
Ex-Busted star and Son Of Dork frontman James Bourne's original musical Loserville may well be heading to the West End if rumours are to be believed. Co-created with Elliot Davis the show is based around Bourne's group Son Of Dork's 2005 album Welcome To Loserville which spawned two UK top 10 hits. Set in 1971 it tells the tale of computer geek Michael Dork who comes up with an invention that might just save the world...if he has time to put it together at the same time as crushing on girls and dealing with a self-important bully.
