The hit production has been amplified for Sadler’s Wells stage this Christmas.
Based on Hans Christian Andersen’s classic story, Arthur Pita presents a beautiful recreation of The Little Match Girl through dance, song and Frank Moon’s live atmospheric music. Perfect for the whole family this festive season.
On an icy cold Christmas Eve in an imaginary Italian town, the little match girl wanders the streets with just one final match to keep her warm. Journey with her as she encounters moments of true kindness and sheer malice in an endlessly imaginative world.
We talked to The Little Match Girl Director, Arthur Pita to ask him some questions about the upcoming production and how the show has been amplified for the Sadler's Wells stage.
Performances will be in strict compliance with UK Government guidance.
