An award winning contemporary dance show for children and their grown ups by Spanish company Aracaladanza
Recommended for ages 4 +
Using as a starting point Hieronymus Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights the performance reveals a series of rich and engaging visions through dance, colour, light and design. In 2008 A Slice of Paradise won three major MAX Awards in Spain, the equivalent of Oliviers in the UK. The endlessly inventive choreography of Enrique Cabrera it includes bubbles, strawberries, puppets, magic, dancing torches and an playful delight in the absurd that sees newspapers and bin liners come to life.
Families can come early or stay on after the show to enjoy the games and events in Sadler's Wells Foyer.
These include a chance to draw on and add in their own figure to a towering sculpture of paper-chain people, create a new wardrobe of paper clothes to wear or stage their own choreography on a fuzzy felt wall.
